"The seven souls are the most fundamental powers of humankind."
The only way to control the destructive powers of the seven souls was to seal them away. The seven souls are the most fundamental powers of humankind, and they represent the basic elements of nature. The Seals of the seven souls are found throughout Akkadia. The Earth, Fire, Water, and Wood Souls are found on the eastern continent, while Metal and Water rest on the western continent. The final and most powerful soul, Life, lies buried in the Sea of Sand, a great desert from which no one has ever returned.

THE SEAL GUARDIANS

The Guardians of the Seals receive immense power from the Source. They serve to protect the Seals from any who would want to destroy them. The Guardians take the forms of various sacred creatures and eventually become celestial dragons. The Guardians can then inherit the powers of the very souls they protect.

History

THE ORIGIN OF Akkadia

     In the beginning, Akkadia was nothing but a dust-filled air and barren rock. One day, a city on
Babylon, one of Akkadia's two moons, was swept away by a mysterious storm. This city of Nadin reappeared, completely unharmed, at the center of Akkadia. Its fate forever changed.

     To survive in this new, desolate land, the citizens of
Nadin liberated six souls that were sealed at the
center of their city.These six souls - Water, Fire,
Water, Earth, Wood, and Metal - transformed the
emptiness of Akkadia to fertile soil, full of life.
However, this joy was short-lived.
Akkadia was different from Babylon, and
the six souls were soon out of control.

THE SEALS AND GUARDIANS

     The ruler of the city sent six young men to reseal the souls and summon the Life Soul, the most powerful of them all. He even sacrificed his twin daughters in an attempt to stop a tsunami.

     Eventually he was forced to evacuate Nadin,
which was soon flooded and drowned, along with the Life Soul.
The people of Nadin settled on the eastern and western
continents and began to truly think of themselves as Akkadians.
Peace returned and the people forgot Nadin, Babylon, and their ancestry as time passed.
Only the Seal Guardians, those who contained the souls and have protected the seals for
generations still remember the ancient city of Nadin.

DESTRUCTION OF BABYLON

     A thousand years later, the Akkadians witnessed the destruction of Babylon, one of the two
moons in the sky. As the moon shattered and broke apart, enormous tidal waves swept the
world. As the waters receded, a land bridge connecting the two continents was revealed.
Refugees from Babylon settled in Akkadia, heralding a new era.

THE MANATECH PLOT

     The Manatech, a cabal of Manatech engineers from Babylon, sought only progression of
technology and continued their research on Akkadia. To do so, they needed a stronger source of
power. Thus, they tried to find and liberate the seven sealed souls.
In fact, this extreme yearning for progress is what destroyed Babylon, but none of the Akkadians
were aware of the Manatech's plans.

A PRELUDE TO WAR

     A few Babylonians, known as the Manatech Rebels, knew what destroyed their home. Together
with the Guardians, they launched an attack on the Manatech.
The shock of Babylon's destruction weakened the seals of the seven souls in Akkadia, allowing
their power to seep out and contaminate Akkadia. Now the world needs a savior who can reseal
the seven souls and protect the land. The Seal Guardians who know the history of humankind
from the ancient city of Nadin
and a handful of Manatech Rebels that witnessed the destruction of Babylon desperately pray for
the seals to be restored.

     The Sword Imperial Guard is a defensive powerhouse with Charge skills and abilities that have a chance to inflict additional damage on enemies. The Sword Inspector also has skills to stun enemies and avoid critical blows.

Protect Your Friends From Harm!

     The Axe Imperial Guard is most adept at tanking with
excellent defense-boosting skills and both single-target and area provokes. The Destructive Grab skill is handy for collecting monsters. In addition, his ability to weaken enemy defenses makes him valuable in any party.

 

Polearm

Conquer with Area Attacks!

     The attack strength of the Spear Imperial Guard is
comparatively weak, but he is a versatile warrior with skills that strike multiple opponents. He is a versatile warrior with skills that strike multiple opponents. The Spear Inspector's the Purify skill removes negative effects on himself or allies, which is also useful in parties.

Dagger

Cripple Foes with Stealth!

     The dagger has excellent Stealth skills, deals significant critical damage, and easily blocks attacks. The Exiled Avenger is the only character with access to Stealth. While stealthed, the dagger can be used to inflict serious damage to an enemy. Stealth skills make the Dagger Exiled Avenger quite powerful in small-scale PvP.

 

Bow

Destroy Foes from Long Range!

     The bow is the only weapon in the game that has a long range basic attack. Because this weapon has skills to slow or immobilize targets, you can control enemies without causing any damage, if desired. Control-oriented players often prefer the bow.

 

Claw

Obliterate Foes with Fast Attacks!

     The Claw Exiled Avenger can attack very quickly. The claw deals excellent damage with an attack power greater than all other weapons. In particular, it offers skills to inflict more damage with high efficiency, and deplete a target's health gradually over time. This advantage makes the claw Shadow Walker excel at extended encounters.

Break Enemy Lines with Mesmerize!

     The Scythe Manatech Rebel is a very useful character in any party. His Mesmerize skills can put enemies to sleep or even paralyze them. The scythe offers strong AoE and passive skills to break enemy defenses, giving him significant advantages when fighting well-defended enemies.

 

Chakram

Hunt Efficiently with Powerful Mp Recovery Skills!

     With passive skills that reliably recover MP when attacking, the Chakram Babylonian uses MP very effectively and efficiently. Only the Chakram offers linear AoE attacks. While not so good at solo ranged attacks, this weapon is quite effective at AoE tanking in parties.

 

Sword

Hunt Efficiently with Powerful MP Recovery Skills!

     The Sword Manatech Rebel has many skills to increase his critical strikes and other skills to reliably recover SP as he attacks. This weapon capitalizes on combo skills and the Reflective Shield learned at mid-level is very powerful and useful in both PvP and boss encounters.
